Volunteering
Focus Birmingham relies on the support of volunteers in all areas of its work – this including administration, IT and events, as well as home visiting, art classes, supporting service users in our Day Centre and making drinks for a coffee morning! Volunteers come from all walks of life, are of all ages and backgrounds – all that is needed is a sense of humour, willingness to learn or share your skills, and a desire to support those we work with. Please note: All our volunteers have to be screened before they can commence volunteering. This will include taking up two references and completing an enhanced CRB disclosure and medical questionnaire.
