Volunteering
Focus Birmingham depends on the commitment and compassion of our volunteers to help us function as a much needed local charity. We support people in the community who have a visual impairment of which some have additional disabilities. In return for your commitment we can enhance your skills and knowledge and provide training and development. Focus Birmingham can offer a range of exciting and different volunteering opportunities for example working either directly with service users or in administration/projects to name a few.
Please note: All our volunteers have to be screened before they can commence volunteering. This will include completing an enhanced CRB disclosure/medical questionnaire and the taking up of two references.
