Wheel 'n' Walk

Come and join us Cannon Hill Park for this amazing sponsored walk event. Bring your family and friends; you can be on your bikes, in your wheelchairs, on your scooter, running or walking, it is entirely up to you.
❖ The theme this year is hats and wigs. There will be a prize for the person with the best hat/wig!
❖ Get sponsored – Ask everyone, your family & friends to pledge and sponsor you. You can get a sponsorship from tracy@focusbirmingham.org.uk or set up a Just Giving Page.
❖ Bring the whole family for a day of fun and be sure to wear comfortable and appropriate shoes for walking or pushing. Bring a packed lunch with you or some money for the café.
❖ Parking will be available at the National Institute of Conductive Education (N.I.C.E), Cannon Hill House, 14 Russell Road, Birmingham B13 8RD.
❖ IMPORTANT NOTE – You can arrive at the park from 10.00am onwards but the official launch and start time will be 11.00am and head to The Bandstand at Cannon Hill Park where we will all be set up and ready to start and have your warm up.
❖ If you require care or support, make sure you bring your own carer or family member with you.
❖ Wheel or walk as many laps of the park as you want, last year organisers suggested 5 maximum but you are free to be adventurous and try for more. Just do as many as you can. Once you are finished you will be given a certificate to celebrate your efforts and to help prove to your family & friends back home your great achievements. We find this helps you collect your sponsorship better.
Water available to keep you hydrated and chocolates will be available to finishers. If you require further information, please contact us. We look forward to seeing you there.
