Do you like arts and crafts? Do you sing or play an instrument? Do you like telling jokes or stories? Do you like playing cards or board games? If you said yes to any of these things, or if you have other skills or hobbies to share then we’d love to hear from you!
Staff at the Elizabeth Gunn Service at Focus Birmingham are looking for volunteers who would like to lead activity sessions in our Day Service for adults who are visually impaired or have other disabilities. Day service staff provide a programme of activities which are tailored to individual needs and help build self-esteem, confidence and independence. We are looking for volunteers to bring new activities, hobbies and enjoyment to our service users. If you have a talent to share, please get in touch!
All sessions will be supported by experienced care staff who will assist in the running of your activity session(s) and who will enable service user participation.
