21 hours per week £10,647 pro rata (FTE £17,745)
We are looking for a maintenance person to work with the Facilities Manager to ensure an effective maintenance and repair service is provided across the organisation.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience of undertaking general maintenance and repairs activities including, minor electrical, heating and plumbing, carpentry, building maintenance and gardening/landscaping along with experience of painting/decorating, knowledge of facilities, health and safety protocols as well as good computer and record keeping skills.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in dealing with varied and challenging workloads and have the ability to work under pressure. You will need to be an effective communicator to liaise across the organisation, with suppliers, volunteers and service users, have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and be willing to work flexibly out of hours or weekends if required. You will also need the ability to work at a height of over 2 metres.
