Permanent - up to 30 hours per week

Salary: £7.90 per hour

Two Shift Patterns

Early Shift - typical start 7.00 a.m. until 1.00 p.m.

Afternoon Shift - 11.30 a.m. until 5.30 p.m.


We are looking for caring, reliable and flexible individuals to join our team to support our wonderful service users to and from their journey to our day centre in Harborne. You will travel with them ensuring they are safe and comfortable throughout their journey.

This role also involves being part of a team to support our service users to access the activities and support them once they arrive at the centre with all their needs including, physical, emotional, cultural, and social and personal throughout your shift.

You should hold QCF 2 in care or equivalent and have experience working with service users who have a visual impairment and other disabilities.

Focus Birmingham is a specialist charity providing expert support, advice and information to anyone in the Birmingham area affected by sight loss or other disabilities. We work with adults of all ages and you would be responsible for ensuring they arrive at the day centre in Harborne to enjoy the daily activities and our excellent facilities.
