Current opportunities: Legal Trustee Focus Birmingham is a specialist charity dedicated to empowering people living with visual impairments and complex needs to lead independent, fulfilling lives. Through our services, we provide expert support that places dignity, inclusion, and person-centred care at the heart of everything we do. As we continue to grow our impact and strengthen our governance, we are seeking an experienced Legal Trustee to join our Board and help shape the future of a values-driven organisation making a real difference across Birmingham and beyond. This is an opportunity to use your legal expertise where it matters most. As Legal Trustee, you will provide strategic guidance on charity law, governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, safeguarding, employment, and risk management while sharing collective responsibility for the charity’s long-term success. Working alongside the Chair, Chief Executive Officer, and fellow Trustees, you will help ensure Focus Birmingham remains resilient, transparent, and innovative, enabling us to continue breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for the people we serve.
