The Board of Trustees have ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of Focus Birmingham, and ensuring that it is solvent, well-run, and delivering the charitable outcomes for which it has been set up.

The board is made up of key people who give their time and carry out their duties for no payment. The charity benefits from the objectivity such a body brings, and from the skills and experience of it's members.

Fundraising Trustee

As the specialist fundraising trustee, you will play a pivotal role on the board of trustees in advancing the mission and objectives of our organisation. Your expertise in developing, implementing, and overseeing fundraising strategies and your commitment to improving the lives of adults with care and support needs will be crucial in securing the necessary financial resources.

We provide a specially adapted supported living scheme in Kings Norton providing 24 hr care to support adults with visual impairment and other disabilities to live independently

Telephone Befriending Service

The Focus Birmingham volunteer team offer support and telephone befriending, ideal for anyone who would like a regular friendly chat at the same time every week. Apply now using the Focus Telephone Befriending System. You can fill it in yourself or ask a family member or friend to do it for you. Once complete we will match you with a suitable volunteer and schedule the calls... it's as easy as that!
