Telephone Befriender What you’ll do: Make weekly phone calls to offer companionship, conversation and support to someone who may feel isolated. Time needed: Around 1–2 hours per week (flexible to suit you). Art Group Teacher Volunteer What you’ll do: Lead engaging art and craft sessions for people with sight loss and complex needs, helping individuals express themselves, build confidence and feel connected through creative activities such as watercolours, clay, knitting and other crafts. Time needed: Every other Thursday, 10:00am–12:00pm, plus set up and pack down time. Minimum 12-month commitment requested. Apply to be a Art Group Volunteer now! Admin Volunteer What you’ll do: Support our team with day- to-day administration tasks such as updating records, making follow-up calls, organising information, preparing materials and helping services run smoothly for people with sight loss and complex needs Time needed: Flexible volunteering hours available, with just a few hours per week making a meaningful difference.
