Our service enables citizens to reach their full potential through our four activity streams which are listed below:

Our person-centred approach means we work with the people we support and their families, enabling them to make informed decisions based in their needs.

Funding

The people we support are funded to attend the Day Service via a variety of methods including local authority funding, health funding and personal budgets. We can support families to access relevant funding

We provide a specially adapted supported living scheme in Kings Norton providing 24 hr care to support adults with visual impairment and other disabilities to live independently
Befriending Service

Our low vision clinic is here to support people with a visual impairment and assist you to learn how to use remaining sight to its best potential.

Telephone Befriending Service

The Focus Birmingham volunteer team offer support and telephone befriending, ideal for anyone who would like a regular friendly chat at the same time every week. Apply now using the Focus Telephone Befriending System. You can fill it in yourself or ask a family member or friend to do it for you. Once complete we will match you with a suitable volunteer and schedule the calls... it's as easy as that!
